Battistero di San Giovanni

A copy of The Baptism of Christ begun by Sansovino between 1502 and 1505, continued by Vincenzo Danti in 1569, and completed with the addition on the angel by Innocenzo Spinazzi in 1792. The original work is in the safe environs of the Mueso del Opero del Duomo, the wonderful museum of work, especially sculpture, associated, with the Basilica.
