Walking Around Bologna
After checking into the Grand Hotel Baglioni, we headed down Via dell' Independenza. After stopping for lunch on a side street, we finally ended up at the Parco della Montagnola. This statue in front of the park celebrates the defense of Bologna against the invading Austrians on August 8, 1848.
