Charleston in November
Our anniversary was the Friday after Thanksgiving, and we decided to spend it downtown. We stayed at Charleston Place, and had dinner at the Charleston Grill in the hotel. The food was fabulous, and Mary's parents arranged for a bottle of champagne to be sent to our table. To top it off, the jazz trio even dedicated a song to us, "It Had to Be You."
From our room, we looked out over the front entranceway, where the hotel had installed a holiday light tree.
