Permanent Links to New York Times Articles
After a few weeks, normal links to New York Times articles get locked behind a pay-per-view wall. However, it is possible to construct links that will work indefinitely by using their RSS feeds. Here's what you do:
- Go to the New York Times list of RSS feeds.
- Click on the link for the section for the article you want to link to.
- Change the URL, replacing "nyt" with "userland".
- Copy the link on the resulting page and you're done.
