An interesting afternoon in my apartment complex. At about 2:30 pm, I heard a crashing sound. Always afraid for the safety of the car, I looked out the window into the parking lot. At first, I didn't see anything unusual, but then I noticed a car literally sticking halfway out of a ground floor window across the way. A crowd quickly gathered, and several emergency vehicles arrived within a few minutes. After about an hour, the car was towed out of the window. Looking inside the apartment, the large brick column that previously seperated the two windows was several feet inside, resting comfortably up against the entertainment center. On the bright side, my car was fine.
