I'm in "linux kernel rebuild" mode at the moment, trying to give my crappy Toshiba laptop (r) one more go before I throw it out with the baby and the bathwater. If I can get sound working, all is forgiven. Otherwise, if anyone wants a great Windows laptop (with linux drawbacks) dirt cheap, let me know.
