The Best of the Best and the Worst of the Worst

The lefty blogosphere has finally gotten its act together and focused on what is truly important: listing their best posts as well as the worst posts from the other side.

Now, I've been doing this blogging thing long enough to be familiar with the wingnut political commentator cum soft-core-porn anime aficionado and reviewer Steven Den Beste, and this post of his definitely gets my vote for the worst of all time. Only 3074 words to conclude that the French will probably not nuke the US over the Iraq war? Brilliant!

I had a harder time deciding on the best post from my side, but in the end, I have to go with Poker with Dick Cheney, from the Editors. From said work:

Christopher Hitchens: The Left won't be happy until the pot is divided up equally between Yassar Arafat, Osama bin Laden, and Hitler. Orwell would have seen this.

Cracks me up every time, and that's not even the best line in the piece. As they say, read the whole thing.
