There is an interesting debate over on Kuro5hin about the relationship between science and religion.


The State: Agenda divides Confederate heritage group. "Some members of the Sons of Confederate Veterans have splintered off from the Southern heritage group, saying it has lost its way by allowing racism to become part of its message." Wow, racism in a "Confederate heritage" organization? I shocked!


A new digital camera (a Sony Cybershot DSC-S85) showed up in the office a few weeks ago, and I finally had a couple of minutes to play around with it yesterday. I took a couple of pictures from the parking lot in back of the office where I work, and they seem to have come out OK. I just wish the memory stick that came with the camera was bigger — 16MB doesn't hold a lot of pictures.
