Dave Winer asks a good question: "This may seem obvious, but lots of software ships with no way to evolve. What happened with Hypercard, Notes and HTML? Why aren't they evolving?" I think he's right, they're not evolving, at least not as quickly as they should.

College Football Wrap-up

This week is a complete reversal of fortune compared with last week. Cornell got crushed by Lehigh yesterday, 35-16, and drop to 1-2. UMass lost to Hofstra in a defensive struggle 51-36, and now stand at 2-2. And USC ends its winning streak and brief stint in the top 25 by losing to Alabama 27-17; the Gamecocks are now 4-1.
